Allison Toupin

In this day and age, it’s important to remember that hospitality and tourism management skills are easily transferable to the broader service industy. She is adept at problem solving and stays several steps ahead of her clients to maximize their business. A double graduate (Undergraduate Class of 2017 and MSBA-HTM Graduate Class of 2018), Allison actively contributes to Feiertag HTM as a member of the Pamplin Recent Alumni Board, and is a frequent guest speaker for Pamplin courses in HTM as well as Marketing and Management.

Allison believes “The most beneficial part of my time at Virginia Tech was taking advantage of Feiertag HTM’s extensive professional network. While in school, I connected with executives in the industry through career fairs and HTM-specific events. Through my field study and internship experience, I was able to dive deeper into the industry and find my niche, combining a fascination for consumers and a love of analytics. The Feiertag HTM program provided an excellent foundation from which I could build my career, and I’m truly proud to be an HTM Hokie alumna."
