The Feiertag HTM undergraduate program is unique in that it is located within the Pamplin College of Business, an AACSB and nationally-ranked program. Our students are immersed in “The Business of Hospitality and Tourism,” gaining core skills in finance, accounting, marketing, revenue management, business information technology and digital media. All HTM students are required to engage in field study/internship activities. As a result, we enjoy one of the top graduate placement rates on campus. Our recruiters often brag to us about the way that our graduates are ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work, confident and unafraid of challenges. We offer a number of opportunities for dual majors, both within the Pamplin College of Business and beyond. This includes our recently-developed HTM/Real Estate double major! Learn more.
Our Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) HTM degree is located in the nation’s hub for hospitality business, the National Capital Region (NCR). Available in Falls Church, the MSBA–HTM curriculum is maintained in close consultation with our industry partners and the HTM departmental advisory board, including representatives from Hilton, Hyatt, Interstate, Crestline, La Salle, and Marriott. Students pursuing either the MSBA in HTM or MBA with an HTM focus will learn to bridge the gap between hospitality operations and hospitality investment. Students develop a thorough understanding of hospitality finance, revenue and asset management, business analytics, and hospitality real estate. All this is achieved within a program which emphasizes leadership development and team building across the curriculum. International Hospitality and Tourism Strategy (IHTS), Entrepreneurship in HTM (EHTM), and HTM Business Analytics and Revenue Management (BARM). Each of these certificates consists of three courses and can be completed in one semester. The BARM certificate is available 100% online.
Last but not least, we offer one of the world’s premier Ph.D. degrees in Hospitality and Tourism Management: A Pamplin College of Business Ph.D. in Business with an HTM Concentration. A Pamplin PhD differentiates our program from other HTM Ph.D. programs worldwide and provides added value to the Pamplin College of Business.
