Biography

Mr. Feigenbaum was a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry.  Serving in such positions as Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Director, and General Manager for single properties, and later in leadership roles in District, Regional, and Global positions for such companies as Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Loew’s Hotels, Restaurants Associates, and Playboy Clubs International.   

Leaving global hospitality operations, Mr. Feigenbaum joined the consulting firm of Laventhol & Horwath as the Director of Operational Hospitality consulting.  He later founded his own consulting firm.  As a consultant, he has been involved with a variety of projects, including; design and development of restaurants and hotels, feasibility studies, new products for the retail market, mergers and acquisitions, as well as litigation support.  Some of his more notable clients include:

  • The Rockefeller Family
  • Takashimaya Department Stores of Japan
  • Victoria Stations
  • Chase Manhattan Bank
  • The Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company

Teaching Experience

Relying on a combination of both industry experience, and academic achievement Mr. Feigenbaum ventured into education, with a passion for teaching, and particularly helping the next generation achieve their goals.  Mr. Feigenbaum has taught at Hotelschool The Hague in The Netherlands; Florida International University in both the US, and China; Virginia Tech, and New York University.  Some of the courses he has taught include:
