September 3, 2025
We hope you enjoy this inaugural issue of Virginia Tech Master of Science in Business Administration-Hospitality and Tourism Management Program newsletter.
As the Director of Pamplin College of Business’s Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) Master's Degree Program, I’m thrilled to share our news from our new home at the Virginia Tech Alexandria Academic Building. Having been involved in hospitality, tourism & events in the DC metro area for many years, I’m excited about the opportunities this region presents for meaningful industry-academic collaboration.
At our new facility in Alexandria, our graduate offerings include:
- Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management - focused on leadership, core business functions, customer service, analytics, technology and innovation (in-person)
- Graduate certificates in: Hospitality and Tourism Analytics and Revenue Management (online); Graduate certificate in International Hospitality and Tourism Strategy, or Entrepreneurship in Hospitality Management (hybrid)
- Customized professional education programs – developed in collaboration with employers to meet specific team training and development goals
- Flexible formats, including evening classes, tailored for working professionals
Beyond the classroom, we’re eager to build connections with the wider hospitality and tourism community. Whether through customized training, professional development, executive education, internships, corporate shadowing, guest lectures, or research partnerships, we welcome opportunities to collaborate in ways that support our students, hospitality/tourism workforce development and the industry.
If you are interested in learning more about our programs, we also encourage you and your associates to attend one of our upcoming Information Sessions (register here).
Please feel free to reach out at any time and please keep us in mind as we continue growing here in the DC Metro Area.
