Charis Tucker is a Ph.D. student in the Howard Feiertag Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Virginia Tech University. Her research interests intersect race and tourism which she uses to explore topics related to the history of Black travel, tourism marketing (traditional and social media) and tourism entrepreneurship.
